School ki aur kahaniyan

So more to school stories, 

There are so many of them, stories as a kid, a little older kid and then that of a teenager

Since class KG till class 10 i was mostly sitting on the first bench

It started with a height order wise sitting arrangement, which eventually became a liking

Rather in between we had those round robin or bench rotation as we called it and i would want to sit ahead (more so coz i had become habitual and secondly there were these fat / tall or healthy girls and i would struggle to see the board or the teacher

I have not been one of the ones who would always want to raise hand and talk alot or otherwise who was talkative nor was i amongst the naughty lot

But i loved most of my teachers, and they were fond of me too 

I have been one of those enthusiastic, cute chubby kid 

Teachers never had a negative word about me to my Parents and mostly it always was she can do much better (i have been an average student and never worked harder to get better actually, i never really realised nor felt the need to do more and better , when its anyways decent with the efforts i was putting what and how to put more ?)

As a kid i started to believe am a Catholic too and started to behave like one 

It was soon that my mom realised and i yet remember her instructions on how to join ones hands to pray “our way”

I was enthusiastic such that wanted to participate in all kind of activities but my school was far and practice sessions were after school

Who would get you back , dont get into these things was the dialogue i heard

But i yet managed to participate in few :)

The other girls in my class or other divisions were a mixed lot

Some were smart looking, few appeared really dumb and trust me they actually were , few appeared dumb or wierd too to me

But there were these dumb looking but spects and studious kind and then there were extreme mischievous ones and  there were those popular smart good at studies, the house captain gang and loud ones (literally loud) and few were teachers super favourites too

Most of the teachers were catholics and few of these girls had like a super vocabulary even back then and they only spoke about some English movies songs and popular character who we all would get only after some rime

(There was no google availability for our immediate rescue as it does now)

And listening to those stories/ checking some pictures and getting to view some clips in between on MTV(the then craze) and star movies (another super craze) we joined the fan bandwagon of few of these popular stars

(Not sure if it was that we actually were fans or it was just to get rid of our fomo feeling i guess)

These were those hep girlies (well this is a very niche Convent term for girls and we would also address each other as girly why do u do this etc)

So this was the overall “mahol” and there is lot more to it
