Being grateful - this time to Toxic People

I never thought I would say this πŸ™‚

It is only because they pushed me so hard — through consistent doses of unnecessary torture, with occasional overdoses that change like the weather.

The torture irritated and disturbed me (and honestly, it still does).

But it made me uncomfortable enough to start looking for avenues to protect my mental peace.

I’ve had toxic people around me all along — as most of us do.

But I was so deeply invested in work that I started treating them as part and parcel of the system, without realising the mental and behavioural damage they were causing.

Only when things crossed a certain limit did I realise — this is no longer manageable.

That moment became a turning point.

I started consciously working towards my mental well-being.

  • Step 1: Realisation ✔️
  • Step 2: Initiation ✔️
  • Step 3: Consistency ✔️
  • Step 4: Modify actions based on assessment — work in progress

The roadmap is finally ready πŸ™‚

And for that awareness — strange as it sounds — I am grateful.
